Question
3: Were you disappointed in any part of the meeting?
Many
NO'S but a few people had some suggestions for improvements for next year.
·
President's
meeting probably needed more structure.
·
Too
much of a break from breakfast to meeting.
·
Day
was too short. Sessions were too short.
·
Would
have liked more Newcomer beneficial events and less entertainment (although was
great fun. Would have liked one more Session
·
Not
enough time at President's meeting & Breakout Sessions. All so unique, large/small/combined, would
like to share ideas & concerns thru the year somehow.
·
Breakout
Sessions too short & tables too crowded.
·
Business
part felt rushed.
·
Late
start to sessions - not enough time.
·
Not
enough time for Breakout groups
·
All
good topics. Would have liked to share
in at least one more.
Question 4: Did the facilities meet your needs?
Absolutely -
Yes - Great - Definitely - Beautiful - Wonderful - Very much so - Very good -
Even more so.
Staff very
attentive & hospitable, Felt Welcome, Tables a bit crowded, A bit noisy for
Breakout groups.
Question
5: How would you rate the food provided for lunch?
Excellent,
delicious, great, good, very very good, plentiful, 10 out of 10.
Question
6: Were you satisfied with the length of
the Conference?
Most said
"Yes". Just great, Could be
longer, Band a bit long, slightly longer to make more time for discussions,
More than satisfied. Perfect.
Question
7: Do you have any suggestions for
future meetings?
·
Have
designated seating given with registration right at the beginning.
·
Each
club bring along newsletters (past or present) for other members to view and
gain ideas.
·
Nope,
brain-dead from too much fun today.
·
Didn't
need to be there for the first part as it just pertained to executives.
·
Ask
other clubs to bring copies of their newsletters, pamphlets
·
to next AGM.
·
Invite
delegates to bring their photos from previous meetings.
·
More
time for the Breakout Sessions.
·
Incorporating
mix & mingle ideas at the tables & in groups could have bought more
time for the sessions.
·
This
was an excellent format.
·
Don't
tell people to come too early - give the Executive time to set up.
·
If
the President's meeting could be done earlier as their breakfast discussion, we
would have more time for the discussion groups (45 more minutes for the
Sessions).
·
Love
the format.
·
Printed
Agenda for President's meeting - send in ideas& questions and no time
left.
·
Bring
your flyers & newsletters.
·
Don't
change a great thing.
·
Assigning
people to tables really mixed everyone up and seemed to be acceptable to
all. Let's do this every AGM.
·
More
time for problem solving for common concerns/issues.
·
Short
reports back to the plenary group regarding breakout discussions - less noise
distraction.
·
More
time for social and breakout sessions.
·
Contact
info of attendees should be available, by permission - frustrating to meet all
these great people and not be able to keep in touch.
·
If
delegates change, repetition is not bad.
·
Keep
the focus on friendship and idea sharing.
